About the Fiscal Division
Three Rivers Planning & Development District prepares and reports on approximately 100 individual budgets that are administered by its various divisions. Several federal and state agencies frequently send monitors to make certain Three Rivers is fulfilling its obligations and we also work with independent auditors (Franks, Franks, and Jarrell). We are proud to say we have had no uncleared monitoring findings. We regularly receive an unqualified opinion on the audits of Three Rivers Planning & Development District, Three Rivers Solid Waste Management Authority, The PUL Alliance, and GM&O Rails to Trails Recreational District of North Mississippi. Three Rivers Investment Corporation: The Three Rivers Investment Corporation was incorporated for the purpose of assisting public entities by financing public facilities and performing other activities benefiting governmental units’ public purposes. Previous projects include facilities such as city halls, hospitals, and detention centers.
