About the Fiscal Division
Three Rivers Planning & Development District prepares and reports on approximately 100 individual budgets that are administered by its various divisions. Several federal and state agencies frequently send monitors to make certain Three Rivers is fulfilling its obligations and we also work with independent auditors (Franks, Franks, and Jarrell). We are proud to say we have had no uncleared monitoring findings. We regularly receive an unqualified opinion on the audits of Three Rivers Planning & Development District, Three Rivers Solid Waste Management Authority, The PUL Alliance, and GM&O Rails to Trails Recreational District of North Mississippi. North Mississippi Mayors Association: The purpose of the North Mississippi Mayors Association is to group communities with common problems and goals together and address the issues as a collective unit. Three Rivers Planning and Development District, Inc. serves as the administrative arm of the Association and meetings are held at various points throughout the course of a year. Please see below for a breakdown of the Association’s annual membership dues:
